As often happens, my work was accomplished during renovation (which explains the exposed, dangling light fixture!)

The parents of the little girl for whom this was painted wanted her to feel as if she was sleeping outside under the night sky. At night, illuminated by only a nightlight, that effect is achieved.

A softer, daytime sky.
