Baby Bo's Cantina on Second Avenue in NYC is an authentic Mexican restaurant / nightspot with an engaging, colorful and eclectic decor.
The commission included restoring an existing mural, original murals, the makeover of the building's exterior and re-design of the entry awning.
The owner of Baby Bo's, Tommy agreed on a bolder look for the outside while preserving many of the weathered / distressed elements.
A deep Terra Cotta glaze, decorative elements, distressing of the shutters, and a faux wood treatment on the front door created a vibrant, eye-catching exterior.
Tommy - the owner of Baby Bo's Cantina. An amazing person and an unbelievable pleasure to work with. He fed us, made his staff available to help us put the scaffold together and break it down (and more) and was a true collaborator.
